Silver Jewellery - using your own moulds and textures - Intermediate

  • The Sidmouth Craft Hub 38 Mill Street Sidmouth, England, EX10 8DF United Kingdom (map)

Intermediate Silver Jewellery Class is preferably for those who have some experience of working with precious metal clay.  If you would like to try a Beginners course first, see our Class Timetable.

Silver Clay is a versatile material that offers limitless possibilities for shaping and moulding.  In this Intermediate Silver Jewellery Class you will learn how to make and use your own textures and moulds from everyday materials.  We will then use these moulds to make items of jewellery.

Please bring any items to the Intermediate Silver Jewellery Class that you want to use in this process, such as lace, shells, flowers, leave, fossils, knitted items, fruit etc.  Naomi will supply a range of items as well.  If you want to make an object such as a shell into a necklace, the shell should be a maximum of 1.5cm x 1.5cm.

The price of the Class includes refreshments and 7g of silver, a chain for your pendant and ear wires for earrings (if making), which is enough to make two to three pieces depending on size and moulding compound.the link below to book your place and find out more.
