Have you ever wanted to make your own silver jewellery but are not sure where to start? Then this class could be for you. In this class we'll learn to make a silver charm bracelet or necklace and will discover the magic of using metal clay to make hallmark worthy jewellery in just a few hours. You will how to make 5 small silver charms and solder them to your bracelet or necklace. You will also learn how to add a 24 carat gold accent onto your charms to bring an added sparkle. You will learn how to shape, process, fire and finish your pieces with a few simple tools. Metal clay is a wonderful material and an accessible way to create your own silver jewellery at home and I want to give you the skills to do this after you leave the workshop.  You will leave with a necklace or bracelet to wear at the end of the workshop.

To learn more about Metal Clay watch this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QCYHvLfNKw).

This is suitable for beginners or anyone wanting to learn more about making their own jewellery making. I'll provide plenty of inspiration and examples to help you design and make your pieces. All you need to bring is curiosity and a desire to take a few hours for yourself making something beautiful! Umborne Bridge Studios is nestled in the Devon countryside providing a relaxed workshop space with a cafe on site for an extra treat should you want it.

We will have plenty of time for questions and experimentation and of course lots of tea and coffee on hand to keep us fully fuelled in our making. There will be a lunch break during the day - there is a cafe on site or please bring your own lunch to eat sat by the river!
